Description

The Intel Xeon Platinum 8280M Processor is a server processor based on the Cascade Lake microarchitecture. It was released in Q2 2019 and features 28 cores, 56 threads, a base clock speed of 2.7 GHz, and a maximum turbo frequency of 4.0 GHz. The processor supports up to 1.5 TiB of memory using 24 DDR4 memory channels with a maximum memory speed of 2933 MHz. It also features Intel Deep Learning Boost (DL Boost) technology, which provides acceleration for AI inference workloads. The processor has a TDP of 300 watts and is suitable for use in high-performance computing (HPC), data analytics, and other demanding workloads.
